Last Few Days of Summer

That's right, these will be the last few days of summer. Temperature is already dropping (to 50s this past weekend) in New York, leaves are falling, soon we are going to be getting our trench coats on and sandals off. I'm usually one to keep wearing my whites way past Labor Day, because well, I don't believe in white being a seasonal color - it's a neutral color that should be worn year round!
The transition between summer to fall is I think a relatively painless one in terms of sartorial sacrifices - opt for long sleeves and pants, and you can still wear sandals; or take that millennial pink slip dress you worn that was so trendy this summer and put it over a long sleeve white chiffon shirt or sweater, and put on some booties - fall fashion in a breeze.
This Amur top is a great transitional piece in my opinion: the off-shoulder and hints of yellow and teal speak summer, while the long sleeves are great for the fall. Wear it with black pants with minimal accessories and you're golden.
